Product Management often gets confused with other ‘project-related’ activities or even specialised domain knowledge. Broadly speaking, it is a term covering the management of the product life-cycle with the sole focus of maximising the most value from a product for the user.
We've run Product Management courses internally for ages and, as we did for the Agile sessions, we've drawn enough positive feedback and implemented learnings to be ready to bring it outside and spread the word about it.
Transform Academy is ready to open its doors again for a new session: "Transform Academy: Product Management 101", on Wednesday 8th March from 10.00am to 2.30pm (including lunch and breaks) at our London offices.
This time we will have our Principal Product Manager, Kiran Patel, leading the workshop and talking the attendees through the basics of product management, from what it is to which are its benefits, the best practices and the approach.
You can expect to exit this session knowing:
- what is product management
- how to define a vision and strategy
- how to prioritise and develop a minimum viable product (MVP)
- how to develop a roadmap
