Transform’s Academy programme is a series of workshops delivered every few months, covering a variety of topics around the key areas impacting organisations.
Product Management often gets confused with other ‘project-related’ activities or even specialised domain knowledge. Broadly speaking, it's a term covering the management of the product life-cycle with the sole focus of maximising the most value from a product for the user. We created our 'Product Management 101' Academy to give you an explanation of how it works and how you can benefit from it.
What to expect
In this session:
- We'll give you a short, concise overview of product management.
- We'll talk through the benefits that product management brings.

- We'll give attendees some guidance as to the scope of a PM role.
The half-day covers:
- What product management is.
- How to define a vision and strategy.
- How to prioritise and develop a minimum viable product (MVP).
- How to develop a roadmap.

- How to prioritise and steer the delivery of complex features.
- How to restore some order and set up structure governance in a chaotic environment.
- How to do early product development activity (e.g. linking product vision to business objectives, workshops to produce a backlog etc.).

- How to bring Agile ways of working and expertise into product management.
