What a week for Transform! We woke up on Monday with the news of being shortlisted as finalists at the Health Tech Awards and we close our week adding another piece of silverware to our trophy cabinet.
Will Lowe, our CDO, and Patrick Greenway, Senior Data Analyst, attended the DataIQ Awards night and were there to collect what is a pretty weighty award, in more ways than one.
Our project “Ending the pandemic by getting the world vaccinated” was crowned winner in the “Data for Health and Wellbeing” category and it’s brilliant recognition of a transformational piece of work that demonstrates how data has the power to drive significant change. Back at the beginning of 2021, when the most pressing priority was getting people vaccinated, we worked with the UK Cabinet Office to address vaccine hesitancy, countering misinformation and helping identifying where to send the vaccines for the fastest roll-out possible.
“This project was of global importance, supporting vaccine roll-out and countering misinformation. It was a first in the way it put real-time data on a global scale at the heart of communication decisions and actions. It was time critical, with the need for collaboration across government, industry and academia. It had big ambitions, but also needed to produce something very practical and useful for our partners."
